You may be wondering, what the heck have you been doing then? Well, our little home is finally put together (garage/studio space is still in the works) and I love it. We have all tile flooring except for one room so I've taken the opportunity to decorate in a more Southwestern style using red handwoven rugs throughout kitchen, hall and living areas. I'll post photos on Instagram and blog about the decor at some point so hope you're following along. We have also spent time consulting and volunteering at Creative Santa Fe (check them out at CreativeSantaFe.org, some amazing things happening through this non-profit) and I've been working a bit at James Kelly Contemporary, located at the lovely Santa Fe Railyards (this is my kind of art and learning so much, see more at JamesKelly.com). We are definitely getting a crash course of the current Santa Fe economy and hope to help make it an even better place as we continue acclimating and getting involved.
Our world is transformed and continues transforming each day. I miss many things about Los Angeles, especially Pasadena, but I love the things that happen here in Santa Fe and hands down, every Sunset here is amazing! Bright pink skies existed in my backyard a couple nights ago and that color is going to be on canvas in the near future.
